Good Spacey Ambient Music

Author Topic: Good Spacey Ambient Music  (Read 1857 times)

Lately I've been listening to a lot of ambient/atmosphere music by Brian Eno and I've come to love it. His album Apollo (Click for whole album) is one of my favorites, but I also like his music for Spore (Sporepedia, Main Menu). If anyone has similar spacey ambient stuff, I'd appreciate it if you posted it here, I'm having trouble finding some.

I thought i was the only one that liked this stuff.

Hold on getting some links.

Only like 1 track of his is somewhat ambient, but Gru has nice some nice progressive metal spacey kind of music. As for more ambient stuff, I'm sorry, don't have anything :c

This is awesome as well.

pretty much anything by BT

DO YOU KNOW WHO THE ORB IS

DO YOU?

DO YOU

If you do I will have your children

Carbon Based Lifeforms.

It's probably a bit more rock and roll-ish compared to what you want, but I always kind of thought God Is An Astronaut had a nice spacy sound to it.

And then Faunts has some slightly similar stuff.

Spiritualized, because they are literally space rock. Deathconsciousness is a really obscure, but spacey album; depressing, too.

The orb sounds like Deathconsciousness. The Orb is mainly based on taking simple beats and adding lots of voice clips. They make parodies of the government and one video even got removed for exposing an illegal CIA project.

He accidentally put one of them on there twice, but it's a good soundtrack.
