Does anyone know the name of this movie?

There was a movie I recall from when I was little, it was a japanese anime movie that involved a flying cruise ship or airship and about there was a dragon thing too. There was a little boy or girl that liked the dragon and there was a fat black blob on the ship too, he would swallow up people and stuff. I can't remember the name of this movie for the life of me. Does anyone know?

I would say spirited away would be correct. it's a good movie. at first i would have guessed castle in the sky but there is no black blob I recall

I've never seen spirited away, but the black blob thing reminds me of the black blobs from "Howl's Moving Castle"
