i've been experiencing a pretty terrible problem with my desktop recently, and i'm wondering if any of you guys have gotten the same thing.

any high-intensity games, if i run at high settings for anywhere from a half an hour to an hour, will cause my computer to completely black out. the monitor stops receiving a signal, all programs shut down and my computer is effectively off except for the fact that the fans are still running, until i manually turn off the psu. games like warframe and payday 2 cause this crash, games like blockland and spiral knights do not.

i have done pretty much everything in my power to try to identify the problem, as well as made several attempts to fix it, and i've pretty much narrowed it down to broken hardware: either a faulty psu (most likely), a faulty RAM stick, or some kind of gpu incompatibility. does this sound right? is there anything else i can do?

Sounds like your GPU overheated. Had the same thing happen to me with any sprite intensive games, such as Dungeon defenders on higher survival waves or the later waves of MvM on TF2.
My monitor would black out, the sound would glitch, but everything inside still ran. the only way to stop it was to either hold the power switch or unplug it from the back.

is this even possible
By quiet, I mean not like the cherry blues which have a load CLICK when you press them. God damn those things are hell.

Welp, I'm encountering a problem. After installing a Corsair H90 for my new CPU cooling system, my hard drive is not registering, and I think it isn't getting power. I didn't change any SATA ports around, or any of the wires at all.

Help me, Blockland Forums, before I wimp out and take it in to a professional.

hm, overheating parts seems like the last thing that it would have been.
is there anything i can do about this kind of thing myself, or do i need to buy something / repair something?

Black, red, brown, and clear switches are all "quiet" switches. If you add o-rings to said switches, they become even quieter.
If he wants heavy, no bump keys, he needs black.
If he wants light, no bump keys, he need red.
If he wants heavy bump keys, he needs clear.
If he wants light bump keys, he needs brown.

are blue switches clicky and loud
because i like that sort of thing

Blue switches are clicky and loud.

I like satisfying clicks whenever I type.

forget yeah im gettin blues

I like the clicks and all but not exactly the best thing when you are on a Skype call 90% of the time.

Uh, you could download MSI Afterburner and run it while you're playing the game to get a better idea of what's going on. But if your card isn't getting enough air flow the only logical thing to do is to basically blow more air over it. All assuming it's your gpu that overheated.

Go inside, make sure the wide thin plug is into the wide thin outlet, and the small thin one is in. There should be two wires connecting to it anyways (Two bundles).

my friend is getting a clear switch keyboard because he stays up late at night sometimes and he lives in a tiny house right next to his parents bedroom, lol

I found out that the Tesoro Excalibur is a really cheap mechanical keyboard, has a integrated macro program and looks great in design too.
I wanted to buy it, but locally I can only buy the Cherry MX Red version locally, despite there being a MX Blue version (the one I want to buy) being displayed on the publisher's website.
I hate this country.
