SLI's pretty jank, I wouldn't do it just for looks.
Agreed, if Blockland supported SLI. I wish Blockland wasn't such a demanding game.

I'm hoping when I can afford an i5/get one for my birthday I'll see a decent performance boost with Blockland. Currently running a bottom of the barrel Celeron 1820 with 8 gigs of RAM and an R9 270... yeah, no good.

Also, my current Z87 motherboard only supports crossfire, no SLI. ;~;

is there gonna be a 960 ti?

is there gonna be a 960 ti?
I do believe so. Some reports may have even indicated 2 versions. Both seem to be significantly better than the regular 960.

yes it was confirmed. it may even be a 4g one

no, the 610 is the the most basic gfx you can get. get a gt 730, it surpasses the 8600 gt, and for a low amount of cash
does it even work on pcie 16x?

this could be my new gpu

also i will upgrade my ram to 4gb

fast edit: my psu is 300 watts so it will work on my old stuffty computer (and for low price <3)

is it worth it to get the q6600? my motherboard is a very old socket (lga 775), and i can't come up with enough funds to get a new mobo and stuff. i'm afraid to overclock, since i will only have the stock cooler, and since i have never done it before. the stock speeds are deplorable in today's age. what should i do? i'm getting a 730 gt along with this

Hahaha, single tear. :C

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a potato are these?
1:
AMD Athlon II x64
768MBs RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 GPU and NVIDIA nForce 430 (128MBs dedicated, rest shared with system)

2 (Lappy):
AMD Turion II x64
4096MBs RAM
AMD Radeon HD 4200 1970MBs dedicated.

You should make a poor mans build of the Stormtrooper build.

First is OK for a file server, second would be a nice laptop for basic stuff like web browsing.

It's not bad, depends on how much you'll be paying for it. My uncle still has a core 2 quad and games with it.

40 bucks, not bad at all
