Get a 4690K instead of the 4670K and put the money you saved towards a GTX970. You can also get a lower wattage PSU, around 450-550W or so, unless you want SLI (and by that I mean that you know that you're gonna upgrade, not "perhaps possibly maybe sometime in the future"); try looking for an XFX TS Gold, Antec Edge, Seasonic G-series or Rosewill Capstone or similar. Other than that it's fine.

What about that problem with the 970 and the 3.5 gig vram issue?
Would that really be a problem?

ive really only seen shadow of mordor go past 3.5 gb

would GTA V go over that?
Granted I wont do much for MSAA, probably only 2x.

Well the issue is that they advertised 4GB, but due to some issues, the card and only use 3.5 at max speed and the remaining .5 at a reduced speed.

Which is still faster than using system memory.

Jubel I have a 970 and 4690k and play GTA V on ultra minus a few settings with MSAA on x2 with 90-110 fps. You're fine.

Ok, thanks guys.

I can't run a 100 ft cable across my house to plug into a modem/router.

Thanks that did the trick. But now my external hard drive isn't working. Before I put in my new HDD it worked fine but now it doesn't show how much storage it has and it says I need to format it and I have important stuff on it. How do i get it to read my external HDD properly without formatting the damn thing?

haha honestly

So I have a problem, with my computer/Google Chrome.

Sometimes when I use Chrome, the entire screen glitches and basically turns into a mess of black and horizontal and vertical lines of colors similar to that bar thingy at the top of Chrome with the close button, for example. I have on occasion  been able to quickly move my mouse to the upper right corner and close Chrome and it all returns to normal.

Here's the weird thing. It only ever happens when I'm browsing Facebook. Today, I went on Facebook, and it glitched. Closed Chrome, and tried again 3 times. Each time,  it glitched. Then, I went and browsed other sites for ~5 minutes, and it was fine. To test, I went back to Facebook, and it glitched.

Why is Facebook causing my computer to do this?!
