Also is getting an SSD to put my OS on a good idea? Im goig to buy the SSD later on because that stuffs expensive yo
yes. super speedy boots.

yes. super speedy boots.
But im going to buy the SSD later on. So is there any way to litteraly copy the OS from my HDD to my SSD?
Or do I have to do some special stuff in my bios or whatever.
Also how much space does my SSD need than? Will 16 gigs or so be enough? Cheapest one is like 32 gigs, will be enough I guess

How do I ground myself on my computer? I don't know much about electricity.
Touching your computer case will be enough.
You can also buy an anti-static wristband or whatever if you really are concerned.
Or just keep touching your case all the time.

EDIT: Holy stuff I noticed AMD CPU's are much cheaper/performance.
I mean for the ~$200 intel cpu wich has 4 cores and 3.2 Ghz I could get an AMD CPU with 8 cores and 4Ghz.
But Intel is better for gaming apperently. What do?
Mainly going to use the pc for gaming and video editing. Maybe streaming or something.

you should get at least 120

Its a "cheap" $700 build so. What do?
Im not a big fan of AMD but I really dont know.
Intel is very reliable and never had trouble and haven't realy used AMD. And I heard intel > AMD.
But I mean damn, performance/price is almost double.
I really have no idea what to pick.

Also forget your doublepost bullcrap.

dont buy amd its seriously trash dude
a pentium dual core for 60 dollars at 3.1 ghz does better than a 6350 six core for 150 dolalrs at 4.5 ghz

extra cores are not extra performance, most games only use 1 - 2 cores and intel blows the forget out of AMD on single core performance

Looked up benchmarks n stuff. The AMD is a few places higher than the intel one, its cheaper tho.

lol wat

EDIT: Nevermind, going with the I5

The way I like to look at Intel vs AMD is that if you can afford the Intel, then there is no question you should go with it. But the AMD's can pull a lot of performance at a low price, so in a lower budget build like yours you can reap a lot more benefit for the price from an AMD. Lord's a bit of an exaggerator, AMD wouldn't exist anymore if their products didn't do what they say on the tin. I've got an 8-core AMD cpu and I've never had any particular complains about it's performance.

I googled for a while and had allot of topic about the 2 cpu's I wanted to compare and the majority said to get the i5 for gaming.
I also selected another, cheaper, motherboard and with the money I saved I spend it on a better cpu.
Comparing both I got this.

The intel one:
+ Allot Less wattage
+ Onboard graphics
+ Better single core peformance
+ Build in GPU
+ More cache

Amd one:
+ Overal peformance
+ More cores
+ More Ghz/core
+ more I2 cache (whatever that means)
+ more I3 cache (whatever that means)
+ unlocked (oveclocking whoo!)
+ Better peformance/dollar

they both have their advantages. Seems like AMD is better for video editing, rendering, etc... while Intel wins at gaming.
While I do both this is p much a struggle, but I mainly game so i'm going with the intel one. Looking at PC specs from streamers i noticed all of them had intel CPU's

so i'm deciding to upgrade like everything in my pc this xmas
i need more fps on space engineers, any ideas on what to get or to upgrade first?

AMD has poorer per-core performance. intel almost always outperforms AMD in single-core performance.

yeah, you should be able to just format the SSD, copy the data over, and have it set as your boot drive. get at least 120 gigs, just in case you want to install some other frequently-used applications on it (i.e. browser, steam (just set your games library to be on an HDD))

GTA V alone already uses 60Gb lol. But I rarely play that. Might get something with more capacity if im going to install games on it. forget cant read.

You should probably get a better gpu. If you want to go cheap get the GTX750. But I recomment getting a GTX 9XX
Maybe a better cpu tho if you're upgrading anyways

Just so you know, CPU architecture plays a huge role in its performance. In fact I'd say it's a bigger factor than anything that can be measured with numbers. AMD always wins in pure numbers and always loses in architecture, that's why they end up performing worse than Intel processors that have lower numbers in most cases

any recommended intel CPU? my budgets around 500
