alright, will do

actually help
i found much cheaper RAM but it's 240-pin and the motherboard you linked was 288-pin
what's the difference, and is it worth using more expensive RAM to get that motherboard?

Like I said, just leave it to us once you've got your final budget

Cheapest GPU I could find is the the GeForce GTX 970 with "4 GB VRAM" for $260-ish. I know it has a big flaw being the if the remaining .5 gHz is used then everything goes to stuff.
Should I just wait it out for better, cheaper cards to come by? If not, then I was thinking of going for an upgrade to lower the temperature/loudness of my computer (CPU Cooler, Case fan, and thermal paste).

Forgot to mention I have a GTX 760 2GB and have a 1080p monitor

$800 not including external peripherals (mouse, key, speaker, headset)
and I was planning on using the i5 6500 anyway

I did more asking around and now my two choices are

http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Devastator-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00DKXXAAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448657390&sr=8-1&keywords=CM+storm+devastator
http://www.amazon.com/Redragon-VAJRA-Gaming-Keyboard-CENTROPHORUS/dp/B00NLZUM36/ref=sr_1_73?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1448649097&sr=1-73-spons&psc=1

I'm also considering replacing my desk but my budget for it is low.

I found this and it's about the same size as my current computer desk. Issue with my current is that the keyboard tray broke and I currently have a 2x4 screwed into the side to support it
pls, I need to know before the deals end
Decided on the CM-Storm-Devastator. Not getting a new desk yet either. This leaves with $60, anything I should look into?

Still need the monitor to be included then?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced wireless network adapter for me? I'm currently using a Bolse BO-N1559 and it is definitely a step up from what I had before it. It keeps getting really hot and disconnecting the signal. I can't really play games online unless I bring our hotspot in my room. Then, aside from overheating the signal works fine. I need something that won't overheat and has a big enough range to support gaming.
The one I have now I bought for $15 and it has been a disappointment. I'm looking in the price range of maybe ~$30. I might ask for it for Christmas.

I've tried multiple options but still cannot fix my laptop shutting off wireless when I close the lid. What is going on?

Go into your power options and change advanced settings, it should be around your PCI and other settings that you can change around.

this is my planned build

Changed it a little bit: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tokthree/saved/kW6WGX

Opted for 8GB of good RAM instead of 16GB of "gaming memory", picked a slightly cheaper GTX 960 4GB as it doesn't make any difference in the end unless you're overclocking yourself, and I put the savings into a better wireless card

The GPU switch is a good choice, but I don't see why you did that to the memory. You slashed the total memory in half and got a lower clocked version, saving a mere $15. I'd say if he wanted the 16GB to begin with, there isn't any reason to sacrifice it for such little monetary savings.
