Alyx, you're really naive. The reason quick shipment is more expensive is because it's put at a higher priority than other mail, not because you're paying for USPS workers to run with it and risk breaking it.

Seriously this. The money isn't just because it gets to you faster. Not to mention even if they rush it in as you described I still doubt it'd even get close to breaking because of the packing paper/peanuts.

You guys are acting like me not trusting the fast shipping process is the worse thing ever, ts onething to explain to me why I'm wrong but no need to call me stupid and such.

It just sounds handicapped when someone says 'I chose slow shipping because the ups worker might not run and drop my package!'

How do people manage to make absolutely terrible builds with even very large budgets?
Even a ~$600 build could run any new game as of now perfectly.

I go off of what I was told by UPS workers. Atleast the ones that work at the facility here. Those are the ones to worry about.

General stupidity
My school paid a $2000+ unit price for computers with:
2x2gb ram
Xeon proccessor @ 2.80ghz w/ a giant heatsink
Nvidia quadro 600
250 gb hdd
Wifi card that will never be used
425w psu (fully shielded)
Custom form factor motherboard with only one usb 3.0 port
Cd drive

That... I don't even, that PC isn't worth the material its made out of. Let alone a couple thousand.

Do you live in a 50's diner?
our living room is kind of styled that way so

it's pretty rad

well with a 600 dollar build you are probably getting a 7770 or a 7850
you can run on medium- highish settings, but definitely not full

I mostly want a PC that can play at medium on games. Not looking for super fast ultra graphics or anything.

Not bad really. Especially for that price.

I know, I was just showing my build that I made under 600. Not sure why I felt the need to.
