My GPU keeps on reaching over 80-85 degrees celsius basically idle, and at times it just overheats and shuts down. The GPU is a G210 (horrible i know) but it never had temperature issues until now. Any suggestions?
the cards normal idle temps are 42C

if the GPU fan is not running that is a large issue, check for any faulty wiring, and then install something like MSI afterburner, if you cannot see the fans RPM or change the power to the fan, it's time to invest in a new GPU

Your GPU fan might not be connected to the card. Check its wires.
Also, you may need to invest in a better fan if thats happening.

I'll check the GPU fan in a bit. Sadly, looks like clearing the dust for the most part isn't helping with the temperature; it's still holding almost 103 degrees Celsius...

EDIT: This is how hot it is during a rather idle scenario.

Do you live in a 50's diner?

Alright, I ordered all my parts today. I had the slow shipping to insure that they took their time delivering parts so they didn't break anything. Around next week I'll have all my parts and when I finish I will post my build.

is this a joke or what

No. If you get fast shipping they'll be more careless and rush your stuff into the trucks and such to get stuff to you in time.
I was told first hand by a UPS worker about how they handle stuff.

But seriously, that's one of the dumbest things I've heard you say alyx
AND THAT'S SERIOUSLY SAYING SOMETHING

Suite yourselves. I'm not risking having something like this broke.
Call me dumb all you want.

If they broke it, you send it back and get it replaced...

I'd rather have it on the first time around.

Alyx, you're really naive. The reason quick shipment is more expensive is because it's put at a higher priority than other mail, not because you're paying for USPS workers to run with it and risk breaking it.
