Ok guys lets do this

I need a top notch PC build with a budget of ~$1500

1080p monitor included please

Do you want to use pricing from cyber monday, or would you buy it at another time

AMD FX processors use AMD Turbocore which automatically changes the clock speeds of individual cores depending on demand and I want to disable it because I don't trust it's ability to give me what the processor should be able to give me when I need it.

Thinking about getting this for my GTX 670 4GB FTW+. I would like to cool my GPU to around 40-50C° (Gaming, such as ArmA III, BF3/4 etc) without fans going up to 80% and being super loud.

So is this a good idea?

Kraken™ G10
Kraken™ X40

Update: Might use this cooler instead of the Kraken x40 because it's quieter and it is cheaper.

I run arma 3 alpha at ultra 37c

What GPU do you use? I play it on a mix of high and very high with a fairly short view distance.

I EXTREMELY advise to stay away from closed loop water coolers that are under 150. I one tried the H60 and was really dissapointed. it performed only about 2 degrees better, but it was way, WAY louder. keep the 212 and OC to 4.2ghz. I dont see any reason to go beyond that except for bragging rights.

i noticed the price of memory (and video cards because of having memory) have all gone up.

One of the largest producers of DRAM, hynix, had a fire in one of their plants a couple months back, causing the price of RAM to go up to fight the shortage. The plant has resumed regular activity since mid-November, and they're trying to catch up to the demand. Give it another month or two.

Normal regular prices

I'd buy it another time

include OS too? and do you plan on overclocking?

I'll just try to add to your build instead of doing my own

What is it with everyone being so ocd about their temps? The only things you should be worried about when it comes to hardware monitoring is clock/mem speed (performance) and then fan speed (acoustics). The ONLY thing that temperature affects is the little number reported by cpuz, nothing tangible. Don't get watercooling unless you enjoy wasting money

I've never used an AMD processor before, but the setting should be in your options. Personally, I don't think you should disable a function like that, it saves a lot of power when your cpu is idling. If you don't trust that your cpu is giving its all in taxing workloads, you should try overclocking before disabling power cycling.

Anyone have any good decent $400-$450 systems that can run Minecraft and Blockland with decent FPS?

I may just get a GTX 760 after all, seeing as how its on sale and makes the price worth it and the 280x r9 is not. There's a slim chance.

The option should be in the Catalyst Control Center.

Or VISION control center, just whatever you use. The GPU controller and CPU controller are bundled together for AMD CPU's.

pre-built, no. custom built, yes.
