I'm a few days late, but Catalyst 13.1 was released, update your drivers if you haven't already, turns out Gmail has been marking my AMD update emails as spam and I didn't even know.
New drivers didn't fix my screen flicker issue, though, I'm going to try hooking up a HDMI monitor later to check if it's a problem with the DVI adapter or with the card/motherboard, I can replicate the flicker with a 100% success rate, so I know it's not a fluke, hopefully it's just an issue with the adapter and buying a proper VGA-DVI cable will rectify the problem, if it's a problem with the card or the motherboard then I'll have to see if my brother will let me test my card in his rig :/.
Can bottlenecking cause the scrolling-horizontal bar flicker? Because I'm 99% certain that my Phenom just isn't good enough anymore, the flicker only occurs when the card goes to gaming clock, on idle clock it's 100% fine and I'm sure it's getting enough power, a 630w PSU should be more than enough, I've even given it a PCI-e cable for each power socket just to make sure.
I don't want to have to bother with an RMA, though I suppose if it comes to that I'd much rather it were the card than the motherboard since XFX are really good with their warranties, all I can do is hope that this issue is with the adapter not being good enough, I mean, it's pretty damn old, my brother used it long before he gave it to me and I've been using it for quite a few years now so I suppose it's not that unlikely that it simply can't handle it anymore.
By the way, Icy, what did you want a full rundown of my rig for? You never did comment on it so I'm left kind of confused
