Does anyone have any good feedback on AMD Crossfire with lower end cards?

I'm trying to figure out of putting a 7750 and a 7770 together would be a good idea or not.

Sure why not. It would beat a GTX 560 at most.

I was looking for an opinion from someone who knows what they're talking about, from what I've seen in threads you have little knowledge of the subject.

Sorry

I've looked at the benchmarks, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.

I've looked at the benchmarks as well, that's kind of a given.

I've used the Nvidia dual card design and it works amazingly, however I've never used AMD crossfire and so I'm a bit wary about using it.

AMD Crossfire allows you to crossfire two or more different cards from the same family. As long as the two numbers are the same they can be crossfired. (HD 7970 and HD 7950).

A HD 7770 and HD 7750 falls just a bit under a HD 7770 crossfire. They could beat a GTX 560 but not in SLI. These cards are not the best.

If you have these cards and are planning to crossfire them, go right ahead. If you are planning to buy them get something else.

I understand what Crossfire is.

So I turned my old, crappy desktop (Windows Vista, ATI Radeon HD 2000 XT, 2GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo processor etc.) into a Blockland server. I created a new user account just for that.

And it's so much faster than my admin account, holy stuff.

Watch out guys, he read some numbers - that means he's an EXPERT.

How good would the 1.2K computer run games?

Why are you going dual mid-end cards? Just seems like a waste.

why get an i7 for gaming? all it really adds is hyperthreading which almost no games use. just get an i5-3570.

Second this, the i5 is never going to bottleneck you.

also word of advice: don't get wireless keyboards and mice. unless you're moving them around a lot, you'll just use them the same way as wired keyboard and mice, but having to replace the batteries every 2 or 3 days and them dying in the middle of gaming.
