is this a good card?

Edit: im running two monitors and each have a resolution of 1440x900. will the card work?

I would get a 7770 instead, it's about $40 to $20 cheaper depending on the card.

An ASUS one is $20 less
An MSI one is about $20 less
And finally a Saphire one is 40$ less

Though the EVGA 650 is a super cute card.

Any modern GPU can run 2 monitors no problem. Running a second monitor for multi tasking and stuff requires like 0 resources.

HOLY forget

That's super cheap for the resolution yo.

I have one of those in my basement
I used to play a starwars dogfighting game on that thing

So my old computer that my brother is using now gets really slow and jittery sometimes. I have no idea what's wrong with it - there's hardly anything on it, aero is off, and he just plays browser games. Any ideas?

Back when you could actually upgrade macs

What's a crossover monitor?

It's the brand. See last page

Specs kinda suck. I don't think I'd need that high of a resolution. It doesn't have HDMI. Contrast ratio is poopy. I can't see the refresh rate or the latency 6ms lol.

As far as I can see, this would be a far better choice.

The whole point is that it's resolution is super high. There is a big difference from 1080p to 2560x1440. The DPI is a lot higher on the 2560x1440 one. Though the best monitor for DPI would be a IBM T220/T221, that stuff is 3840x2400. That monitors height is the same as that IPS monitor's width.
