My old geforce 9400m could run those games without problems.
Besides, the gtx 610 is just a rebranded 520, which excells in medium gaming. You'll be good for the time being.

Okay, L4D + L4D2, TF2, and GMOD are like the only games I play.

You should be able to play all of those.

I've had my DeathAdder for about seven months now, and it's only now causing unbearable issues. The mouse will either work or not work when booting Windows, Synapse doesn't even pick up the device when re-plugging it, and when using Linux the cursor will randomly fly up in the top right corner. I can't seem to find any information about this (or a fix) and Razer support won't help because it was a gift.

Has anyone had this issue? If so, how did you go about fixing it?

Either one is pretty good. They both have some really cheap shipping and come with keyboard and mouse. They will probably have the best hardware for your price range.

ruining your pc to make money :D

That's slightly useful if you know what you're doing. Also only if you change hardware or something like that. But I imagine the majority of people willing to pay 40 dollars for that have no clue what they're doing.
