i never heard of atom, is it some new intel cpu?
holy loving stuff

atom has been around since like 2008

The second one is near Identical to my system, afaik same CPU GPU and amnt of RAM, and I run every game on ultra except ARMA 3.

might be worth while if you REALLLY wanna play arma on ultra.

Unfortunately, your Quadros aren't going to be pushing your FPS very high.

So the new CPU and GPU I bought arrived, but it turns out I need a new PSU to use the GPU. Great. Oh well, it'll be here tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Regardless:

CPU: AMD FX-8120 (would get FX-8350 but it wasn't compatible with my motherboard)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870

just to put that into perspective, here's what the desktop I bought these for was using beforehand

CPU: some dual core 0.25 GHz CPU I don't remember the name of
GPU: NVidia GeForce 9500 GT

might have been a good idea to get a usb 3.0 supported motherboard. also, how much did this cost you?
I'm going to have one last look at the manual and see if there's anything (I thought I saw some jumper caps on some settings). I'm not bothered that one of the front ports doesn't work because of how much monies I spent on this PC.

Hey, guys.

i am currently planning on upgrading my 2.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU to a 3.8 GHz Quad-Core CPU because Planetside 2 runs like crap despite my new GPU that i have in here.

i am also getting it as a CPU/Motherboard Combo just in case my current Motherboard won't work with it.

what cpu is it

what motherboard are you already using

i dont know the exact wattage my current power supply has. but it's certainly alot greater than a 400W power supply

What's your new GPU?  Generally you shouldn't use up more than 70% of your power supply.

I just want to make sure but will this adaptar allow me to hook up any wireless xbox 360 controller to my PC?

It should, not entirely sure because it's not the official one, but it should.

I can get a refund if it doesn't work right?

EDIT 2: That one is only available in the US. Could someone find me a good one on amazon that can ship to canada and has good reviews?

I assume you would be able to return it, however it depends on their return policy.
