So would running a dual graphics/crossfire mode with an AMD 6670 work?

Yes. It would run at around 30FPS at 720p resolution on medium-high settings.

But just the APU alone won't do

Ok so I am now thinking about geting this AMD A8-5600K Trinity or this AMD FX-4100 Zambezi as a processor, and this ATI Radeon 6870 as a graphics card.  Yes the GPU listed is out of stock but I will find one somewhere.  Still using the same 8 gb of DDR3 1886 RAM as before.  What do you guys think about this and Planetside 2?

EDIT: Thank you Blockzilla for helping.

Um I suggest the FX-4100, it's better, and getting a newer generation GPU, like the HD 7000 series. Probably an HD 7850 or 7870. HD 6000 are out of stock in most stores/sites and are older.

Ok so I have my CPU sorted, so would you recommend this GPU?

If that's around the maximum you're willing to spend, sure, but you can also get an HD 7770 which is better, for a bit cheaper.

Thank you Blockzilla.  I really cannot thank you enough.  I really do appreciate it.

EDIT:  Would that HD 7750 even fit in this case?

Yes, both cards can fit in, even in CrossFire.

Not horrible but not great either. Should have tried to find one with a decent CPU and GPU (The CPU is fine but the GPU is going to be bad for gaming). But then again I don't know if you could even get a laptop with a dedicated GPU for that price.

i could, im getting any laptop i want cheap cause my uncle has a connection or something idk
i didnt get a dedicated graphics card because its for school, and having one would just be a waste of power, i wont be gaming on it anyways
thats why im getting an ssd, too

Pecon's suggestion.
Yea, I think I'll do that one because I don't need a 2TB anyway, I plan on going ssd sometime or another anyways.
