wow that i7 deal is climaxic
but its in-store only so you cannot order it online, just note

and you are spending 150 on a case with such a budget? you should get a case for 50 and put the rest of the money toward better parts. i would probably get a 1tb western digital black for the hdd
oh and get the r9 280x instead for 20 bucks less, it completely annihilates the 760 in terms of game performance
Thanks and is the r9 280x able to be oc'd for the future? And for spending 150 on the case since it looked cool and felt like it was well built ie not plastic & cheap filler metal like zinc.

Are you talking about this Western Digital Black:

Also wtf newegg it won't let me search up Windows 7 it only redirects me to some dumb Windows 8.1 introduction page.

Microcenter <3
If I get 200 bucks or more for Christmas I'm definitely getting that
Do you live near one since it is in store only no online buy & ship. Since I live p. close to one.

this one is 10 bucks more but its the newest model and quite a bit faster than the one you posted

and yes you can overclock the r9

the new Intel chipset is the 1150 right?
I forget cuz they are so closely similar to each other I get em mixed up.

Thanks and sweet. :D

EDIT: Huh after searching newegg it seems like the 760 is faster then the R9 280X but it doesn't say anything about stream cores (also what do they do?). So I guess i'll probably stick with the 760 for now.

I think it is the 1150 and/or the 1105.

How's this?

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.50 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory [+0] (Corsair or Major Brand)
MOTHERBOARD: * GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P AMD 970 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 4 Classic, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 2 PCI
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card [+79] (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

I'd get an FX 4300/4350 instead and use the money you save on that to get a better GPU. You really don't need those 8 cores

prebuilt? oh. you'll waste a lot less money if you build yourself

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.80 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology [-64]
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory [+0] (Corsair or Major Brand)

SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+99] (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

where did you get that from? the r9 280x is completely better

Oh on newegg it said this in search results this is for 280x
Core Clock: 1000MHz
Boost Clock: 1050MHz

while searching the 760 gives this
Core Clock: 1085 MHz
Boost Clock: 1150 MHz

clocks have barely anything to do with performance. imagine a small jetski going at 100mph or a giant arctic behemoth ship going at 100mph. which is more powerful? the giant behemoth ship, even though their speeds are the same.

Alright thanks, one question how well will it run Blockland & Simcity along with Minecraft? Like settings and FPS wise.

blockland at max settings + ports shader mod at smooth FPS, Simcity probably high or max, minecraft not even a loving question

Oh man that sounds so awesome I want to play on it right now. Also could you help me find a case that is all steel/aluminum(is it better?) no built in fans/psu's. And of course a glass panel? c:

why no built in fans?? all modern cases have many fans in them, why don't you want them?
