loving up mate
loving up because he doesn't want to get a last gen card for the same price as a next gen, you're the one loving up with your stupid suggestion. Gj.

Where do you get good desks (lots of storage, cabinets, well built room for big mouse pad, right handed) that aren't some flim flam Ikea desks?
I actually got a really nice desk at Officemax once.

It's sort of hard to see from that picture. I'll assume you're talking about the irregularity in the bottom left part of the socket.
If it's bent, you're pretty much forgeted and you should try to RMA your motherboard if you're not the one who bent it
If there's no pin at all there, you're fine.
yea its not consistent, i can't see well enough to determine if its a bent pin or what.

Thanks but tbh I don't really have the budget for that.  The 660 should suit my needs fine.  I mostly plan on playing planetside 2 gmod and blockland so for the time being I don't really need a 760.

Ive heard really good things about the Hyper 212 Evo, and it's only around $40, I think.

I don't know why everyone's drooling over the hyper 212 evo. I had one and the whole heatsink kept getting extremely dusty very quickly compared to other fans in the system. It did a terrible job at keeping my CPU cool and could not overclock.

This turd did a better job at keeping it cooler.

For an Intel i5 4430, would max temperatures of ~55 degrees Celsius per core when playing something like Battlefield 4 be okay, or is that too hot?

That's very good. Anything below I would say ~80 is good.

Alright, thanks. I don't know anything about core temperatures and such, so that's good to know!

My Hyper 212 Evo keeps my CPU at 32~ degrees Celsius while gaming with plenty of room for an overclock. You probably mounted it wrong.

Nope, even changed the paste and put a better fan on it. Was disappointed with it.

Anyone want to recommend a reasonably priced gaming mouse of decent quality with more than 2 programmable buttons and no stupid stuff hanging off it?

When gaming I only get down to 40C.  I Also had to declock my i7 4770K down to 4.0GHz, I had it on 4.2GHz and it would peak to around 60C. Is your room like the arctic or something?

I live in the UK in an old house with central heating only on the ground floor and a bigass single-pane window in my room, it's the way we roll over here. My CPU was running at like 50-60 degrees C with my old cooler though, so it's not like the 212 Evo isn't doing anything
