Like I said, if you want to save a lot of money without sacrificing very much performance you should go to an i5-4670k and R9 290X. Otherwise, don't cut corners on things like the hard drive, because that's something that's going to affect almost every possible action you could perform with your computer. Okay here's my dilemma, as I've said before I don't know jack stuff about computers, and I really just don't have the time to build a computer. I have a budget of 500$-600$ (preferably the lower 500 range) and I'm not seeking something that can run high end games max at 120 frames. I mostly play games like CS:GO, TF2, LoL, Garry's Mod, and such but it'd be nice to have something that can run most modern games at medium settings at a playable framerate (50-60 fps is playable to me). I was looking at this, and noticed overstock.com has a cheaper version but with a different graphics card. What would I be better off buying? Also please do give better suggestions to me,  I need them.

Those items you've chosen are all most likely higher quality than the prebuilt's. The prebuilt doesn't even have the processor model listed, for all you know it could be the cheapest 4th gen intel processor possible. That applies to virtually all the other parts.

Building a computer does not take a long time. It's very easy.
The parts would all ship within 2-3 days from newegg (I'm assuming you're in the US), and would take maybe 3 hours to build start to finish for your first time ever. That's probably less time actively doing something than it would take you to figure out which prebuilt is best for you, such as the time you took to type out this post or do any research

I suppose, a small anxiety of mine is just having something go wrong and not knowing what to do to fix the issue. Even though I still would prefer a rebuild, any suggestions for a good build at around 500$-600$? I've been looking on the net but it would be nice to see some suggestions from you guys. Also I would like an OS included with the build.

Also, I forgot to ask. I'm passing from a x32 to a x64 processor. Do I need to get new HDDs, new sound cards, new WiFi cards, new SCSI cards, new phone cards and new serial cards?
