Or you could get an R7 250X, which is something like 20% faster for the exact same price
If neither Capslock, Numlock or Scrolllock's lights toggle when you press the key when your PC freezes, that means that your OS froze. I'd make a backup of your important files ASAP.
I don't have a 1TB backup either and it doesn't stop me from copying my important files...Use a USB Flash drive or a DVD you could have lying around.
Another thing is that (this doesn't happen as often but it still happens). My computer screen will go completely black and my monitor will act like there is nothing connected. The only way to fix this is to restart my computer.
