My piece-of-garbage USB network adapter needs to retire. I can't play anything online anymore because it heats up within 20 minutes of playing and stops working. I'm never using a USB one ever again. I'm thinking about getting this card: http://www.microcenter.com/product/383917/TL-WDN4800_N900_Wireless_Dual_Band_PCI_Express_Adapter

I currently have this: http://www.amazon.com/Network-adapters-300Mbps-Wireless-N-Adapter/dp/B00EZV8ZJI/

What does everyone else recommend? I'm looking in the $30 range.
Im going to get the same one. Reviews says its good so I guess it is.

Can't help but wonder why I bothered asking Reddit for help regarding anything
I had the same thing to.
I have no idea how to fix it unfortunely.
Is it a thing with "Nvidia driver crashed and has succesfully recovered" or something allong those lines?

i get that like once a month on win 7

And as I said in that thread, it only started happening after I updated to the 1511 release for Windows 10

roll back to a previous update then i guess

I rolled back to 359.00 with no result. Dunno if I can be bothered to go through the trouble of installing one older than that right now without knowing for sure that it'll solve the problem

did windows update at all
describe the process you went through to un-update the drivers

I use DDU in safemode to completely wipe all traces of the drivers before installing my version of choice normally

Come on man, I have a picture showing what NVIDIAs versioning conventions look like and the major November update for Win10 is literally the only thing you get if you highlight it, right click and search google for it

Jup, had the same thing playing elite.
I tought it was your gpu overheating? Not sure
Or maybe dust is piling up. Try to remove any dust and try again.

i figured out the hard way that my motherboard has a button on my case that allows me to do a hard restart (just cuts power to the hard drive and restarts the computer) for the hard drive
kinda terrified me at first really
