In very basic terms it's defragging for SSDs, rendering your concerns of an SSD becoming fragmented, as well as that article, completely moot

So can I or not use an SSD as recording?

I do, most other people do. So probabaly, yeah

Aha I see
Well I am going to buy a 500Gb one later I found because well, stuffs expensive and they will drop in price soon.
Also I most likely dont have money for one. Atm a have an external HDD I use to record on but ehh... well its not the fastest. I can handel 720p in 30fps as far as I know but I have never tested 1080p. Because my pc is too poop to do that. Ill have to figure out how fast that drive actually goes.

What you guys think of my planned htpc/workstation.
The ultimate slim-line solution. It reminds me of a beefed out HP I used to have with an old AMD sempron in it.

Here is what I am working with:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01154933

I swapped the power supply for a 500 watt and gave it 3 more gigs of ram for a total of 6. The original geforce 8400 GS actually burnt up during an electrical storm, so I replaced it with an ATI 2400 Pro. It's actually a card meant for a slim-line, but I bent that lil mental chunk back with needle-nose pliers and made it fit into my mid-size atx form factor.

The system is an Intel/ATI hybrid. lol.

external HDD I use to record on

I wouldn't use an external drive for recording personally, the transfer speeds are just too low

Hey guys, I have a computer problem here. Now, I made a topic about this, but I got no leads on what it was. Moving forward, there are some times that windows keep tabbing out, like you're opening a window on top of an existing window. This isn't annoying on Google Chrome and some windowed games. But War Thunder and games with full screens, it just completely tabs it to desktop. I've already tried cleaning the keyboard, and I think its an internal, virtual problem. How do I fix this?

Did a benchmark and both my internal HDD and external HDD get 87Mbps

Can be windows giving you notifications and tabbing you out of the game. Try turning it of.
Or you may be accidentely doing it yourself

1. Its just like there wasn't a program tabbing me out in the first place.

2. Its too often for me to actually be doing it myself.

Do you have GeForce experience running in the background?
Maybe your key is stuck?

i have a question about the 750 titan and my current build
this is what i have now:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883258094
it has a gt 610 but i want to upgrade it to the 750 ti
what i got is that i can use it but i'm still pretty new to this stuff and this is my first upgrade, i want some other people to look at it and see if there would be any compatibility problems or if i have to upgrade more parts
?

What kinda power supply does your comp have?
Though if you get a shorty version of the 750ti, it wouldnt an issue i guess.
