Author Topic: A letter from the CEO of Hobby Lobby  (Read 3765 times)

It must be easy for a male to make decisions for a female...
Let me reiterate:
if you're against it.
I was assuming both parties involved were against it.

it is entirely irrelevant if the woman in question was opposed or for, as the only difference it would make is whether or not the company would pay for it or not. it is only a benefit, not a rebuff like banning condoms.

I get it now

Oh wow, Visage posted something serious?! I mean, he's totally right, but...has this happened before?

I'm always serious and always right you don't know me at all.

The federal gov't shouldn't have a say in this anyways. It's not against any basic rights and the gov't was never supposed to be involved in the economy. This country is so broken.

A government that controls the economy falls under the left wing. Socialist when all ultilty services are government owned, communist when all means of production are government owned. Authortarian when it controls the people with an iron fist.

Any back on topic, these militant athiests are starting to get a little out of hand.

They sell stuffty products. Let them pay for abortion.

They cater to specific audiences just like Hot Topic. Don't be so obtuse.

I love how everyone would much rather argue over religion and politics than notice my post on the first page about how this is probably a fake letter anyways, lol

Tip: Jesus hates the rich
Oh sure, and that's exactly why Jesus spent so much time with the tax collectors, the rich people of the time, trying to teach them what's right. I agree with Kearn, someone's awful at interpretation.

I thought it was fake too but apparently it's legit.

This article also has a lot of info on the issue, but I only skimmed it.

I think abortion should not be used as a contraceptive for a legitimate intimate relationship, but should be available in circumstances like rape or incest. I don't think Hobby Lobby should have drugs forced on them.

Oh ok, interesting.
Well as long as this is apparently real, I guess I'll say my opinion-
Debate on whether or not abortion is right, really doesn't matter. It's an extremely controversial subject, and people are going to disagree about it. Because of that alone, they should not be forced to pay for birth control or anything like that. People can debate all day whether or not it's alright, but either way they shouldn't have to pay for it. As long as it's a controversial subject, nobody should be forced to pay for something like that.

Religion is handicapped and only causing a stuffload of stuff, nothing positive...
