Your clan looks more like a military clan than a building clan. I like the idea of a building clan, since that's never been done before. But ranks? And a uniform? A tag was good enough but forcing people who build into ugly army uniforms is silly. And there shouldn't be ranks. Ranks just make your clan more diverse and it's not like you specifically have each part for each player. They should all have other skill sets and are able to do more than just this one particular thing. Having ranks makes players feel discourages or looked at differently because they could be too low of a rank to have an 'opinion'.
Also it doesn't seem like you have any clan progress. Post pictures, give the people what you're working on.
Also silly black list. You have stupid people who are deemed blacklisted or just frowned upon to have in your server anyways. Having a blacklist on a clan makes you look prejudice and cruel.
AoB has been around for a very long time, longer than many plans.
I see it like this: a ranking system in the clan incurs a more professional feel to the community. The ranks have been carefully considered and reviewed by all clan members, and they're in place to established where players stand in the clan. It's to give new members a higher status to strive for by developing their skills in the clan, and it gives more experienced members an opportunity to work with new members and perhaps develop teaching skills. It doesn't fragment our members, it strengthens them and unites them in a formal manner. I'm sorry you have such a skewed view of our system, perhaps it's because you make your statements from outside of the clan, because the structure is a welcome thing. Uniforms are only mandated at clan meetings, by the way.
AoB is nearly infamous for spikes of inactivity and lag (not in the traditional sense). We don't feel obligated to share our work, although it makes sense to do so. Not much I can say about this, all we can do is release content as we create it.
The blacklist has users on it for a reason. It has a purpose, and it's not cruel. It's pretty simple: if a user is on the blacklist, it's for a good reason, and those reasons are noted. It doesn't make much sense to have users that are hostile to the clan continuing to be present on our servers. They aren't welcome for good reason, and the blacklist helps maintain the quality of the organization, once again I apoloize if you view it as a harsh prejudice. I think you're missing the fact that we don't just block out members for no reason.
