Why get mad over a bunch of cunts anyway? I just try my best to ignore them.

Ignoring problems does not make them go away. This is a terrible philosophy for anything.

In all likelihood what they really probably want is just attention. Denying them it is probably the best solution.

Neglected children want attention. Religious fanatics want the entire world to conform to their ideologies. Ignoring both only makes them worse.

There are only 40 official WBC members, I don't think they have all that much power. They're just extraordinarily radical.

It only takes 1 to make a big impact.

The only way to eliminate problems stemming from any form of religion is to eliminate the radicals.

Don't you guys know why they do this? They picket some poor sod's funeral, someone can't take it and flips out and attacks them, they sue, get a bunch of money from a settlement or whatever, rinse repeat. It's how they make their money. Ignoring them IS the best option. Getting all mad at them will do absolutely no good, they're completely within their rights.

That's not really true. There's a problem with abortion and nonradical members of religion.

First off that's pure speculation, and incorrect at that. They're religious radicals, you can't argue that they aren't because it's so obvious that they are. Second, hate crimes are, well, crimes. So, no, they are not within their rights.

I'm pretty sure most of their revenue comes from counter suits.

They don't commit hate crimes wtf XD

A hate crime is any crime motivated by membership in a social group. Loitering is a crime, loitering while hating gays is a worse crime. The entire point of the anti-WBC movement is to classify them as a hate group so that they will be committing crimes and can be taken down.

....lol you can't be serious
loitering can never ever be classified as a hate crime
and they can't ever be charged with a crime for picketing, unless they're on private property or something and even then they'd only have to pay a fine

Most funerals and such occur on private property.

From your link:
A hate crime is a category used to describe bias-motivated violence: "assault, injury, and murder on the basis of certain personal characteristics: different appearance, different color, different nationality, different language, different religion." [2]

Sorry, no loitering. And WBC doesn't picket right next to the loving grave, they're out on the street leading to the cemetery. Aka, public property.
