It happens to me quite frequently, I think I should go to the doctors.

Yeah, happens to everyone.

EDIT: Standing up suddenly does it to me.

It's because the circulation in your head has be slowed due to you sitting or being in an awkward position. Stand up too quickly you can get blackouts.

Drink more water, stretch before getting up from long periods of resting (sleeping, napping, sitting down), don't get up too fast, etc.
