At least in your case it's somewhat understandable. "doge" actually comes from a handicap spelling of "dog". On the other hand, the Nintendo Entertainment System has nothing to do with current events.

Doesn't matter. Even if you do punctuate it, it still returns results for "news". And even if it didn't, it's still annoying anyway.

Did you try turning autocorrect off? I searched NES and it didn't act like I mean't news.

I know it does this for other words but it's not doing it to me for NES.

It never turns up if you just search for "nes". It's when you try searching for other things with "nes" that it assumes you mean "news".
