Best thing to do as of now is to take and hope for the best and get a really loving good lawyer, first you admitted to being in an gang and that is pretty stupid to do for one. Second, you didn't know fighting is illegal? I've always known that. Hell you should have just gotten expelled honestly.

Also look into the law so you can argue if you were to get the chance.

From what I read, you're in a gang and you told someone you were going to fight them, then, in an effort not to get expelled, you divulged all information regarding this gang on tape, then started another fight and now have to go to court.

Well stuff you're forgeted either way. If you're in an actual gang, not just one of those groups of thuggy kids, and you DON'T go to prison, you're probably going to get stabbed, but if you do go to prison, when you get out, you'll probably get stabbed.

Now that I think about it, his situation is a little comical.

I just imagine somebody running up to another person and being like "I challenge you to fight!" and then the police bust in and are like "You're under arrest for trying to start a fight!" and he's like, well, you know that over-dramatic "Oh nooooooo!"? Yeah he'd be doing like a half assed "ooooh noooooo!"

and then it changes to a scene where the OP is at his desk, trying to deal with the predicament and it like shows papers on his computer desk that have to do with him being arrested and the phone isn't in the receiver so you can tell he had a stressful phone call, and then he thinks to himself for a moment and the camera pans in on him and he has like bags under his eyes and hasn't shaved for awhile so he looks all rugged, and he gets on the forums and posts this thread lol
