I don't think the naming makes a difference.

I love Animal Crossing. I got Wild World and lost so many hours of my life too it. I wish I had the same experience with City Folk, but I never had time to play on the Wii. Which is why I'm so excited for New Leaf. If it's on the 3DS, I can play it anywhere :3

Animal Crossing music that changes with the hour! Has original music, WW/CF music, and New Leaf music! On Saturdays between 8 and 12 it even plays K.K. Slider music.

I'm excited for New Leaf because it is on the 3DS and I can play it EVERYWHERE, which is why I liked Wild World. Also really excited about the fact that apparently I am the god-emperor of animalkind and can decree that people's houses are too be changed at my leisure.

I've played all Animal Crossings, love them. The main reason I bought a 3DS is for New Leaf.

Nah, I also got it for MarioKart 7 and the upcoming Super Smash Bros. I've also heard rumors of a Mario Party 3DS which should be cool.

I tried the Harvest Moon game, and I still like the DS/GBA one better. 3DS one just makes you choose between livestock or crops, and you have to do a cooking thing every month.

Unless you mean the 3D one. Haven't played that one.
