If you were talking about the location of OBL's death it was in Pakistan
Of course it was in pakistan, he was pissed off because of the US being violating muslim sanctity.

Two things. One, the law of conservation of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. You simply can't make "free energy," even the most logical designs don't work. Two, you don't get that much return. Generating energy comes from the mechanical energy of the windmill, which means generating the energy would slow the turning speed to a stop.

I'm not making "free energy" I'm saying we use existing energy (perhaps coming from other sources, as an "initial investment"). Then we have an engine that starts the spinning of the windmill, which is then doubled or tripled by the wind. Each rotation of the windmill will create a certain level of mechanical energy. If we can make it so that each bit of energy put in is doubled or tripled, that would be an efficient way to make energy.

You can't just "double or triple" energy though.

i'm sorry khoz but
engineers that have had years and years of advanced schooling are actually smarter than you

Geothermal, anyone?
Geothermal energy is actually pretty interesting. It's been used as heating in some skyscrapers, actually.

This is true but go ahead and explain anyway. I'll explain why it doesn't work that way you won't be frustrated.

I believe most problems are caused by the government. Osama Bin Laden was trained by the CIA to fight the Russians, the dude who blew up the FBI office with a truck of fertalizer was ex-military, The kid who shot up the colorado movie theatre use to talk to a NSA profiler, Richard Ramirez the night stalker learned some infilitration techniques and knife motions from his cousin who served in vietnam, the united states sold weapons to Iran when relations were good. The NSA, CIA, and FBI all had information to find and kill Bin Laden and avert the twin towers, instead the agencies refused to cooperate and let the attack happen. Meanwhile politicians like Diane Feinstein are after gun owners, TSA is harassing people at airports, and the media likes to scare people.

Anyways, I'm not an engineer like I said, so these thoughts are useless anyways. However, one issue is the Ronald Reagan removed funding for alternative energy. Our energy solar and wind might have been far more efficient given an extra 20-30 years of development

Yes, I've never said anything contrary to that, I don't know why you're bringing it up. I just proposed that, I didn't say that I could fix the energy crCIA overnight, silly.

Maybe if we didn't let every crazy loving Joe into the military, we wouldn't have this sorta problem. Gun prohibition is stupid and will never work.

Probably not

It also would be a whole lot of money to fund.

Fossil fuels are a terrible solution period and instead of just "Nothing is as good let's just stay in our little technology bubble until we die" people should actually try to advance our power alternatives.

Seriously, all you need is a turbine, a really deep hole and water being pumped in a giant circuit in a pipe system in the hole.  It's not rocket science.  Put them everywhere and you have no problem.

Probably not
:/

We have done lots of stuff in 30 years. If you told someone during WWI that we could make a single bomb that destroys entire loving cities, they would have said something along the lines of
Probably not

Never doubt human ingenuity. But I suppose that's all in the past, no point crying over spilled milk (or stuffty politicians)

Money that we had at the time. What did we do with it? "Fight Communism"? Bullstuff

What? Fossil fuels are a pretty amazing solution. They produce a lot of energy from little volume, fuels like gasoline burn relatively clean compared to other fuels like coal, natural gas burns completely cleanly producing 0 pollution, and they're abundant in volume. Granted we can't rely on them forever, but we're not going to die from using them like your post seems to imply.

Well.. I don't see much communism around.. just a few places..
