I'm pissed because school shootings keep happening and will not stop. They are tragedities. I actually hate 9/11 and national socialist jokes. They are just mean spirited. But I'm taking Gritty Grapnel a little more seriously because it just happened.

Just because someone is handicapped and did something that offends people who faced a tragic event, that you shouldn't mind about, doesn't mean that you can just start raging about it like you were there and you experiecned it yourself. If your son died, would you want countless of people weeping and grieving over him and some pothead hippies coming to you at work saying "I heard what happened on the news, i feel you meehh.." even though they don't, and then when you arrive home have a group of anti-gun protestors with signature collections on them and ask you to sign it because your sons loss had to have something related to guns? All of this would be reminding you of your loss all day for weeks until the bandwagon dies down and no one gives a stuff about the families of the people lost in the shootings in Connecticut.

Seriously though after further review OP overreacted. I do not like the joke and I do not find it funny, but I realize people have other values over what humor is.
