Author Topic: Problem with shaders.  (Read 648 times)

I have a 2009 iMac 27. I've been told its to have one of the best graphic cards available to any computer. I believe it for it can run many games on full graphics settings and still run at 60-70fps. But why can it only have the shader level turned up to 1 on Blockland? I'm probably a noob for asking this but I frankly don't care.

There is some issues with Shaders compatible on other platforms.

If I remember right, Mac support isn't enabled yet / very buggy.

So... If someone here knows a little bit more than me I hope you'll tell me too.

Also, you are not a noob, asking a question doesn't make you one. ;3

What do you mean by one? Do you mean Minimum or low? Badspot said it had somethig to do with the openGL drivers that Macs have pre-installed that are missing somethig for shaders. Thats pretty stupid of Apple (not hating) to not include something like that considering even Linux has it. (And the fact many Mac users use 3D Modeling Programs which use OpenGl)

I am guessing this isn't somethig that can't be fixed until Apple adds support for it or Badspot needs to find some workaround with it.
