Author Topic: Obamacare forgets over some Wendy's employees  (Read 6265 times)

Anything that requires government intrusion besides things listed in the constitution such as false advertising.

Things like minimum wage, required Equal Opportunity Employment, and the like are all terrible
Yeah, I too hate worker's comp, safety regulations, and child labor laws.

Safety regulations are redundant and a responsible company that cares about profit knows that employee retention is important?

And child labor laws are the opposite of good. Whenever reporters shut down a "sweatshop" in the US, most of those kids just get another under the table job. And speak of the devil, Wendy's doesn't hire any minors because it is a pain in the ass, which is an example of how these laws prevent children from being employed.

I don't see why the world has so much hate for the country that brought us video games and the internet.
Sony is japanese
Sega is japanese
Nintendo is japanese

I don't think that bombing Hiroshima made people so forgeted up in the head they started making "ping pong press button and screen says doop" machines.

And if you start stuff like "Atari is American", just remember what their latest sensation E.T. did?

latest? they have done a stuffLOAD since then. and still are today.

Don't blame Obama cause some Wendy's owner is too much of a cheap prick to provide his employees with a basic service like healthcare.

As someone who's been trained for management in a fastfood resturant, money is always very tight, and cuts are made everywhere to keep it afloat.

Giving healthcare benefits to employees at a burger joint is enough to put it out of business.

Okay ignore anything I ever said in here.

Those figures are about companies that are already providing healthcare...

If a company can't provide healthcare, that company is doing something wrong.

Wendy's was already providing healthcare for full time workers before the ACA, so to say it will all of a sudden put them out of business is a load of stuff.

Clearly not. Wendy's is a franchise, the owner of the particular establishment decides on the benefits it provides its employees, not the umbrella brand.

Corporate workers usually receive benefits, but the people who work at the franchise restaurants, who aren't general or district managers, almost never get benefits.

oh no, wendy's employees were forgeted over
AUGH, RIGHT IN THE WORKFORCE
seriously though, obama's not in the wrong.
Raise taxes for the lower class,
lower taxes for the higher class.
