It's a simple formula really. Stupid acting and stale humor only appeals to kids and people who watch reality tv.

Just in my opinion, much of what is popular on YouTube is awful, RWJ and Smosh included, though there is some stuff by Smosh that is funny. I dislike let's play stuff for the most part.
