I will probably only like a couple of their songs. and that I very rarely care about the words in the songs, it's just the notes and stuff that I enjoy.

I used to be like that. Started thinking of albums as a single piece of art rather than a collection of hit and miss songs right around the time I started getting into independent stuff.
