I'm actually glad they're getting rid of the beveled design on the bricks. I always preferred the game without it.

sure blockland didn't invent sloped/non-beveled bricks, but their concepts probably aren't 100% original anyway. taking note of the fact that Telamon/shedletsky used badspot's block party in one of his dev demos, the devs most likely know about and like the game.

this specifically may not be a copy, but i'm sure they've taken an idea or two.
