I tend to find it fun to learn songs not intended for guitar, like skrillex music, offers a fun piece to play.
Also, from experience Guitar II was my favorite class ever, we had about 10-12 people in that class, and we all got a long. It was my first class of the day, so it was nice to have that instead of something like English.
