I didn't see the topic so I don't know if he was being serious or not.
But even if he had been online since, someone may have just gone onto his computer, he would already be logged in so he would appear as online. It doesn't necessarily mean he's alive.

My brother (Xilver/Pitbull) tried to kill himself in 2011, Bubbagum attempted to kill herself once in late 2012 (since I've known her, probably more) HPRC killed himself in 2011 or 2012, and The Docter apparently killed himself in 2011 or 2012.

Also, The Docter would have to stab himself twice to kill himself.
