Author Topic: (Playertype) No Fall Damage Playertypes  (Read 5393 times)

Before ANYONE asks, YES, I did search on the forums AND RTB, and didn't find anything like this.

Simply a playertype with no fall damage. For all your temporary needs.

Uses:
One that I can think of, where you temporarily use no fall damage. The idea just randomly popped into my head when I was being killed by impacting a wall on Tezuni's jail RP server when I beat the Baldr thing.

Includes:
  • Standard Playertype
  • No-Jet Playertype

Note: This is my first add-on. Yes, I made a colorset, but that's not a topic of discussion I want on this thread, dirtying up this new add-on. Yes, it's been tested. Yes, it works.

Note 2: Some code was taken from the no-jet and portal playertypes, and I mashed them up to create this. Come to think of it, it's really simple to create stuff, you just need to know what to type.

EDIT: The main idea behind this is that what if you need fall damage in one area in a map, and no fall damage in another?

EDIT2: THIS IS NOT PORTAL PLAYERTYPE. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Nice job, this will be useful.

this is true, but only for simple things like playertypes.

>Turn Fall damage off
>Profit

Well, look at the bright side, this add-on isn't completely useless...what if the host wants every other playertype to have falling damage except for those with this playertype?

>Turn Fall damage off
>Profit
Well, what if you need fall damage somewhere else in a map or something, but not in one location?

Portal playertype

Good playertype though

Some people don't have rtb.

You don't need RTB to turn off fall damage.

Was already made :L

He is stating that the playertype has no fall damage.

Instead of packaging you can also put
