My grandfather use to smoke his pipe but he never inhaled. He lived till he was 89.

Or maybe mouth cancer. If there is such a thing.

How the hell do you hold your breath for 89 years?

he isn't 89 when he's 89 years younger than 89.

I once made a smoking robot out of a fish air pump. I connected the intake tube to a stuffty pipe bowl that I drilled with a screw driver. Then I put wood shavings in it and would watch it puff smoke :D Poor pump was filled with soot.

Now here is the hard part, learn to make a curved stem.

Also, do you know what kind of wood you used? Please tell me you didn't use treated wood found in stores.

(You can do so by taking a straight stem like you have, soaking it in boiling water for a certain time depending on the size of the wood. At a certain point it will be soggy enough to slightly bend with pressure, just dont apply too much.)

I might try making some other styles eventually
hell no I didn't use treated I actually just went out and got a chunk of oak and cut it don't to size on the chop saw then the band saw and so on may not be the best kind of wood but itll do for my first pipe

I thought that the pipe was made of Flame Maple for a moment, that would look really cool.
