There is this damn detective novel i'm supposed to read for some book report. The book is so boring and un-interesting that whenever i read it i can only for for 0-2 pages before i turn into a mummy.

i liked warriors at first (made it through books 1-6 of the first series)
but the author really stretched the story thin with all those books, so i stopped.

I stopped hating it a while ago, since I tried reading it ages ago. My hatred has faded with its memory.

Also, Ayn Rand is pretty much the worst author I've ever read.

You read Roald Dahl? Cool. He's like the only recent Norwegian author who is popular abroad.

I also like Tolkien a bit, but he's very hard to read. It almost feels like reading a history book. The Hobbit is quite easy to read, but LotR and especially Silmarillion are very hard to read at times. Tolkien has put very much effort into forming an accurate alternate universe, but for someone without his brain capacity it can be a bit overwhelming.

Anyways, I haven't read very much lately, unfortunately. Most of the books I've read the last year are books belonging to my university curriculum. I've read some fiction as well, mainly crime fiction by Norwegian/Swedish authors. I think they're the best in the world at what they do. For some reason, scandinavia has a really large collection of excellent crime authors.

I used to read all the time but for some reason I've lost interest in it. I recently picked up Fahrenheit 451 (again) from the school library and started on that. I have the first four A Song of Ice and Fire books, the entire LotR collection, Brave New World, and The Silmarillion to read.

A lot of high schools require you to read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, but if by some chance yours doesn't then you should find a copy and read it.

ASoIaF is so much better if you don't think about it. Like, I really enjoyed them as I read them (except parts about Daenarys, snooze fest, lol), but looking back they're...eh.

Daenarys bores the hell out of me, she just goes on and on about how her dragons will burn this and burn that, the only story I enjoy that is outside of the seven kingdoms area is Arya's, and maybe Tyrion's. Other than that things taking place outside of it are pretty dull.

Right now i'm reading a book called Divergent by Veronica Ross it's very very good.

the alex rider series is my current favorite book series. i used to like the warriors series but after the first 2 series i sort of stopped liking it.

i'm currently reading the restaurant at the end of the universe and recently finished the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. they're both excellent books if you like humorous stories.
