Author Topic: Finished Plasti-Dipping My Car! (Pic)  (Read 3110 times)

Some of you who know me better will know I am somewhat of an insominiac and can never go to sleep until about 4 am. So I figured what better to do then get my car ready for its project tomorrow.

What I'm doing is using a product called plasti dip to "paint" the chrome area of my cars grill and the silver rims, black. What plasti dip is is a spray on rubber substance that when dried resembles paint and sticks very well, it can last for years and years. The good thing about it is, if you don't like is you can just peel it off and it appears like you never changed anything.

But anyway, I've been working on this in my garage for the past hour:

Taping off everything I do not intend to plasti dip, I still have so much more to do and I did not even start the tires. Oh well, painting happens tomorrow, I think it will turn out great.

derp

I mean, when it's dried, is it grippy? I think he means that it will stick to that which it's sprayed very well.
