I think it's fun, though the launch stuff was bullstuff. A lot of people are just pissed at EA, the game is pretty fun. EA is still a stuff company.

Dont forget the learning curve

Every game should have learning curve. learning curve means there is a challenge, and if you don't like a challenge then why play games?

The game's only real learning curve is basic finances and city development.  It takes a bit to get into for real, but then eventually you understand how to play.  Alternatively you can always read tips from other players and see what they do.
