Lately, and pretty much as long as i've been here there's been drama, tons of it, lots of it stemming from something as measly as one post, and yet it can spawn a firey argument and often no one ever looks back at the root cause of the problem. And yet there is such a simple solution to this problem
THINK BEFORE YOU POST
just take a second to look at what you've written and just think, "is this what i want to say? is this contributing or just plain stuffposting? Am i going to cause the next Blockocaust from posting this?". I know this sounds ridiculous, i mean it's just an internet forum with no repercussions from posting, but even something that seems insignificant can have a larger effect than what you intended. And you know, what's the harm in not posting what you were going to? i've many times thought about what i was going to say and said to myself, "this is not a good idea", pressed Home and never regretted it.
Maybe it's ridiculous to assume that something you post on the internet could effect someone detrimentally, but keep in mind how many death threads there have been where drama has arisen-
quite a bitI'm not arguing against posting what you think- by all means, share your opinion! But remember, even if you're sure in what you're posting, just lean back from the screen, press preview, and just take a second to think. it can save everyone else a lot of trouble.
and probably a couple of drama threads
this is just what i think. feel free to chastise me for being silly, or whatever.
