Get a 9800GT. I tried it on a Pentium 4 HT 3.6GHz and it worked fine.

That's a terrible idea for more than one reason. It's not going to be that cheap since it hasn't been made for a while. Axolotl2 most likely doesn't know much about computers if he recommended a card that came out 4 years ago, and is pretty much a just a 8800 which came out 5 years ago.

Nobody could give you a good answer to this question though. First whats your budget, and second what are your specs. You should have the op have a bit more information or post in the computer megathread with some actual information.

9800GT was a great card when it was new but I would never buy one in this day and age.

and they are selling it for exactly 250,00.

I just want to check if the 9800 GT card is good, i checked the hardware and I am happy with the configuration.
