You should try opening that website with chrome, notice it doesn't work at all, then open it with another browser, notice it works instantly

I've been using dropbox for months, anyways. I'd rather not re-upload a gigabyte of files to a site that's probably going to get taken down again.

The site is being flooded with traffic.  It opened roughly 4 hours ago.  There's no need to be upset, go back to using dropbox if you care so much.

Also it's based in NZ, outside of US jurisdiction, and the servers are designed so that Mega can't see what their users are uploading.
