Surveillance is of course important (to a degree), but many countries (notably the US) have it where it may not be as necessary. Big Brother is watching. By the way, Iceland is the cleanest country in the world. In contrast, the US outputs the 2nd most of CO² emissions next to China, which per capita and population means the US technically emits more.
