Also, where is a good place to start with Frank Zappa. I'm interested and he has a stuff ton of material

This is my field of expertise.

If you like Jazz Fusion, go with Hot Rats. This is one of his best albums, only beaten by We're Only In It for the Money.

If you like his more comedy-rock style albums, start with Sheik Yerbouti or Joe's Garage.

There's also some killer instrumentals on Waka/Jawaka, Apostrophe (my personal favorite), and Shut Up and Play Your Guitar.

If you want to check out some of his best guitar solos, look up:
-Apostrophe
-Watermelon in Easter Hay
-Black Napkins (this solo is crazy good)
-Pink Napkins
-Heavy Duty Judy
-Five Five Five
-Outside Now
-Treacherous Cretins

Im going to NAMM 2013 today.

worst feeling?
getting into a band you loved as a child, not being able to find one of your favorite albums, and never being able to find it anywhere

sad stuff yo

need some music like close encounters - the orb

NAMM 2013 was amazing. Got to see Chris Letchford of Scale the Summit and a bunch of prototype gear from Ibanez and .strandberg*
