I'm a huge blues fan, and that was really the first rust belt style blues I found. I don't quite understand what you mean by cringe worthy, but a good albeit underplayed song by them is Stop Stop.

I guess that's my problem. Blues as a genre leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The use of piano overdubbed on guitar riffs just comes off as terribly cheesy and the vocals also have a similar effect

True. For me, everything comes and goes in phases. I can listen to nothing but heavy metal for a month or so, then completely change to classical for the next month. It's kinda weird.

I don't like the Wall but Dark side of the moon and Wish you were here are the best albums in classic rock I've heard.

You can't deny that "Comfortably Numb" is a damn good song. That solo is easily among the top 5 guitar solos of all time.

I used to really really like Pink Floyd, just like, musically I was really into them. I hate to make this connection, but I wasn't (and still am not) into drugs or weed or anything (but didn't really care or think less of anyone who used them), and then I dated a girl who at first I thought was really cool and I thought we were really similar because we were both into photography and liked similar music (Floyd included), aaaaand then in the course of me dating her I found out she was kind of a stoner, semi-perhaps-alcoholic bum and I realized that I reaaaally wasn't into that and I broke up with her.

And then I didn't listen to Pink Floyd for the longest time because it reminded me too much of her, I'm just now starting to get back into their stuff a bit. Kind of nice, I can actually listen to it with fresh ears now that I'm thoroughly over her.

The Wall is really overrated, it's a good album imo but it's just become so mainstream over time.

This is a kid I know, what do you think?  I think it's pretty good, but it sounds like he's lacking emotion.  I also think his rhythm would work really well with some off-beats and a pause or two.

Also please don't just stuff on him in the comments lol

His accent is sort of weird; screws with his flow a bit imo. Not really major, though.
