I really don't understand why it is so beloved. I'm pretty sure most people like it ironically.
The lyrics are ridiculous(I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIIIIIST); the fuzzed out folk-styled guitars are just inconsistent in tone; it is just massively unappealing. Fans claims everything else is soulless compared to this "masterpiece;" is getting a band together and spewing stuff that makes no sense soulful?

It's really just 2deep4u hipster stuff, but it isn't too bad. It's just overrated.
